FABRIC DESCIPTION
This fabric has the strength and structure of denim, and the freshness and quality of linen.
In addition, linen is the most environmentally friendly textile fiber, along with Hemp: biodegradable, its cultivation preserves the soil and requires no chemical pesticides as it is not attacked by pests and needs little water.
Indigo is the dye selected from the typical blue color used to dye the warp-that is, the thread that, when interwoven with the weft, will form the denim fabric.
The production of natural indigo is virtuous. On the one hand, it promotes the development of the local economy and on the other, it promotes the employment of Indian inhabitants. All with a very low environmental impact.
Before (on the skin) and after the first wash (in water) the shirt will release some blue color, like any quality denim dyed with indigo dye.
WASH
This is an ideal fabric for spring and summer days, but to avoid damaging it in the washing machine, it should preferably be washed in cold water or no more than 30°. Dry in the open air, not in a dryer.
